Shirts are Ordered

I'll keep checking the status at Nike, but they've been ordered so let's hope none are out since it was a clearance item. The total came to $15.85 each. I paid for it already so if you can pay me back ASAP, that would be awesome. Cresta is collecting the money for me (thanks!) so make checks payable to me but get them to her. Go Ragnar!!

Shirts

Please post your choice here ASAP:

The tank at Champion has free shipping right now and I don't know how long it is going to last. If you want to get the one that we all decided on, we need to act. Also, are we clear on the color we are choosing? I was under the impression we were going hot pink and I don't know if the stellar pink looks purple to you or not, but it does to me - I hate purple. So, are we going with stellar pink? or the coral/seashell one? And, are we each purchasing our own or putting them on one order? Lastly, or would you like to keep looking? So, reply to those three questions and let's get going. Stacy

Logo Design

Calling all digital artists, if you want to take a whack at creating our logo, be our guest. We can put them up here and we can all vote. It needs to include our name "sole sistas" on it and if we can get a sponsor (check the neighborhood network e-mail on Friday), it will need to be on there too. Deadline is December 15th. Good Luck!!

Shirts

I don't like the selection from my distributor cause they are a little pricey so last week Vance and I went on a uniform search at Sports Authority. They have a great Nike tank and coordinating tee for right around $20-$25, if I remember right. They are a hot pink color and they look like what we might be looking for. Check out this link (I'm not sure it is exactly the same one, but it looks right and the price was similar). I thought the ones I saw at the store were for sure that dri wick material that Jana and Kathleen wanted. I think the ones at the store might be last season so we ought to decide quickly so we can save $$ and not get the new arrivals. Each person is responsible for getting their own, but if you can't get to town, let's figure out a carpool or send some money with someone. I doesn't matter if you want the tank or the shirt, the logo will go on the back. I'm going to price out some hoodies and zip ups for those interested also since it could be cool running at night.

Turkey Time

Who's gonna run the Turkey Trot??? It really is a fun race. It's cheap registration as far as races go and what better way to not feel guilty as you are stuffing your face on Thanksgiving! You can register on active.com. The link is on the upcoming events list on the left.

Please respond to this post if you are going to run!

Hydration

Okay all you runners! Now that you've started training for Ragnar (right?) you will begin to run for longer distances. One thing you are going to need if you don't have one already is some sort of pack that can hold water. You will probably want to wear one during the Relay too. I have one I really love from FuelBelt. Here is what it looks like: http://www.runjunk.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=357 I think you can even get one on ebay for cheaper. Anyway, what's right for me may not be right for you so shop around. The key is to not get dehydrated!
